You’ll get my dead easy recipe for a delicious strawberry feta salad that hits the spot every single time. You can serve it alone or as a side with some grilled chicken or a seasoned steak.

One of my favorite things about the warmer months is the fresh produce that comes with it. Strawberries are one of those iconic fruits where we all think of summer months shared with loved ones!

I’ve kept this salad super simple because the ingredients have really punchy flavors with the super sweet strawberries, the salty feta cheese and the tangy salad dressing.

The seasonal greens give some extra freshness, the toasted hazelnuts give some crunch and because they are a little sweet they taste delicious in this strawberry feta salad.

Tips for a Perfect Strawberry Feta Salad:

  • How long will my strawberry feta salad keep in the fridge?

2 - 3 days. This is a wet salad though, which means the greens will wilt in the refrigerator, so either don’t add the dressing to the whole salad or eat it within 1 day. I eat it the next day, the greens are still crunchy but more wilted than I would like.

  • Can I use a different kind of nut?

Yes absolutely. If you prefer (or have on hand) another type of nut then just add that. Most nuts would go with walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, and pistachios. I think peanuts would have too strong a flavor though. Or if you’re allergic just add croutons (after the dressing) for the crunchy texture.

  • Can I use goat cheese instead of feta cheese?

I would! I love goat cheese! However, it kind of disintegrates in a way that feta cheese doesn’t so add it to the salad after you have tossed and added the dressing.

  • What kind of meat can I serve my strawberry feta salad with?

Any type of chicken would be fabulous or a beef steak. This salad would also pair nicely with pork.
